Mountain Altitude

examines elevation as both physical and mental experience.

Mountains emerge as structures of distance—forms that resist immediacy and demand contemplation. Layered brushwork emphasizes scale, weight, and vertical tension, while composition guides the viewer into spaces of ascent and withdrawal.

Rather than heroic or panoramic, these landscapes are introspective. Altitude becomes a metaphor for separation, endurance, and the desire to step outside ordinary perception.
